<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (NetsDaily)</div><div class='quotemain'>Yao Ming is the product of an arranged marriage between two great basketball players and a state-run training school, and his game is a reflection of that. Yi Jianlian learned the game on the streets and was discovered playing ball on a makeshift court, and his game reflects that, too. Yi talks to the Rocky Mountain News about how China needs to develop the quick little guys–like Allen Iverson–to complement him and Yao.</div>

Haha, wow, is this serious? That's a little weird.

I concur, they need to get some good guards out there. Better than Sun Yue.

I wonder how streetball is in China. Is it anything like streetball in, say, NYC? Makes me interested to see how Yi's going to play.

So I guess we'll be seeing Yi pulling off dunks like Dwight did in the dunk contest!

Dwight's not a 7-footer, neither is Garnett or Amare. I think that's Del's point. He didn't say most athletic PF overall, he worded it carefully.

Yi Jianlian's not a 7 footer either. That's why I brought up Dwight.

Well, according to NBA.com, Yi is 7-0 (I always thought he was 7-2), and Dwight is 6-11.

At Milwaukee's training camp last year, Yi measured in at 6'11.25" w/o shoes, 7'.5" with shoes, 7'4" wingspan, 38.1" max vertical. He also had a team best and freakishly low 3.4% body fat.

Dwight is 6'9" w/o shoes, 6'10.25" with shoes, 7'4.5" wingspan.

Dwight is a physical freak, but Yi is a freak also (for his height).

Third longest wingspan on the Nets. Lopez is 7' 5.5"; Williams is 7' 5".

    Those are world class wingspans.

Imagine a lineup of all 3. Yi at SF, Sean at PF, and Brook at C. That's almost enough length to cover the entire court!

With Anderson at SG and Vince at PG!

That would be pretty fun to see.
