The passing game. After a great start to camp, QB Eli Manning has struggled the past few days, but that might be because he's bored of throwing against the same defense in the same drills. It might also be due to the fact that his top five receivers have missed at least some time with injuries. WRs Domenik Hixon and Sinorice Moss will have a chance to prove their worth tonight. 2. Rookie S Kenny Phillips. The first-round pick has been in perfect position to whack a couple of his teammates during camp but had to pull up because, per coaches' rules of limited contact, that's a no-no. Tonight, it could be bombs away on the Lions' WRs for Phillips, who will work with the second-team defense. 3. Anthony Wright vs. David Carr. This is Round 1 in the battle for the backup QB spot. Neither has looked great in camp, though Carr has an excuse: he's the new guy. Wright will enter first (after Manning, of course), with Carr likely to play the third quarter.</div> <div align="center">Source: NJ Star-Ledger</div>
Doesn't look like it'll be broadcast up here, so I'll be relegated to post-game reports for the most part. Any people in the area planning to watch? I've been waiting for some legit game action for a while now.
Game was okay, didn't watch much because I was watching the Yanks. Kenny Phillips did good for a rook debut.
