But we're gonna run away with the division next year

The Suns are old. I expect Nash to miss a couple of games. Fat Daddy O'Neal, like always, will probably miss half the season. Grant Hill can't be counted upon to stay healthy, and Amare still can't play defense. The Suns will most likely make the playoffs next year, but I can't see them being a top 5 seed, or challenging us for the Pacific Division title

The Clippers are the Clippers. They got Baron but lost Brand. They got Camby for peanuts, but he doesn't make them that much better. Kaman is pretty good. Gordon and Thornton are inexperienced, and they don't really have that much depth. The Clippers will probably be fighting to make the playoffs, no way will they challenge us for the division title

The Warriors lost Baron, and replaced him with Maggette, who is like half the player. Turiaf is cool, but he's gonna get dominated by Bynum or Gasol, or just foul out in 5 minutes. Monta, Beans, Wright, Randolph, and Marco are all good young pieces for the future, but they won't be challenging us anytime soon. They couldn't make the playoffs last year, and this year they got worse. I don't expect much from them next year

The Queens, I mean Kings pretty much called it quits when they traded away Artest. So yeah, they won't even be a factor.

All in all, from the looks of things, the Pacific Division is pretty much ours. Obviously things can happen from now until the end of next season, like injuries or trades, but as of now, I don't think we're gonna have too much trouble within our division at all. Should be fun competing with the Hornets, Rockets, and Spurs for the top seed in the west. Funny how our expectations have changed so much in one year, last offseason a lot of experts didn't even predict us to make the playoffs

Can't wait for the season to begin! [IMG]

I definitely think there's no doubt you guys are the favorites next year.

Don't be totally sure the Warriors got worse. If they can get something out of Randolph, plus if Belinelli can improve, not to mention Monta Ellis and his improvement, all things considered they could definitely make the playoffs.

Well we get to have Pau for an entire season too, and possibly Bynum. I'll be disappointed if we don't get home-court throughout the entire playoffs.

Well the won the West last year, I'd be surprized if they didn't win the Pacific again, especially with a healthy Bynum.
