Guaranteed money over camp invite. From Utah to near the Adriatic coast...La Dolce Vida. http://www.netsdaily.com
that basically leaves just Julius Hodge as the only camp invite with a realistic chance of making the team. Nets need a back up PG though so I don't know what they will do

He would have given them as good of player for a 3rd PG that is left plus for much less money that could be used to get bigger free agents in here next year.

He's got a baby on the way, and relying on a partial guarentee or something to that affect in the NBA might not cut it.
Here's a bulletin...the Nets did NOT offer Carroll an invite... From the Salt Lake City Tribune: Utah State graduate Jaycee Carroll signed a one-year contract to play professional basketball with Siviglia Wear Teramo in Italy, according to a press release Tuesday. Carroll was given an offer to attend the Toronto Raptors and Phoenix Suns' fall camps but didn't accept because neither were guaranteed offers. Carroll entered the 2008 NBA draft but went undrafted. In early July he accepted an invitation to play with the New Jersey Nets in the Orlando Summer League. Carroll was a two-time Associated Press honorable mention All-American and the Western Athletic Conference Player of the Year in 2008. He will report to the team Aug. 25 for a physical.
