One bright spot, on a fast break, although a foul was called, Yi was the first one up the court, would have been an easy 2.
Man I really hope China dosen't choke, I really want them to win!

It's funny looking at the box score and seeing Ricky Rubio's line. You would think he had a terrible game but he really helped to spark the Spain comeback with his defense. The guy is a ball hawk.

And what's up with Yi? Is it him just not being assertive or is the team just not looking for him on offense? only 4 shots?

OMG Yao Ming went 4-12 AND he fouled out! What a bum he sucks worst Olympic performance ever BUST! Thank god we don't have him on our team!

Btw, Wang Zhi Zhi was on Miami for a while and he sucked. So good luck with that.

I love how Olympic play has no real indication of how good an NBA player someone will be.

I wouldn't say it has no indication, but it is a different game - same thing with college bball.

That's fair. There are a couple players in the Olympics thus far who look like great prospects but we've seen how the struggle in the NBA game and superstars like Yao have less than stellar lines (granted he is coming back from a major injury) and we know full well that won't be the case when he gets back to Houston.

Watched the game, and all I can say is guys brace for a long season with Yi, he reminds me of a taller version of Antoine Wright. Occasional flashes of potential but mostly lethargic.

    ps his not a starter
