http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=Aj8l...p&type=lgns good news for Nets fans as hes going to be in the second year of a 51.5 million dollar contract. I don't think hes the kind of player that can convince Lebron to stay anyway since hes kind of a shoot first PG.

well, where does that leave West on the cavs? not sure if it's a good trade for any team involved, but we'll see.
I personally believe this acquisition will convince Lebron that the Cavs are serious about winning. You can pretty much forget about the 2010 plan.

It's typical you need to involve a 3rd team in a trade just to make the CBA rules work out.
"Milwaukee also signed guard Tyronn Lue and forward Malik Allen in an effort to bolster what has been one of the league’s worst defenses." huh? when the journalist says they signed Malik Allen to bolster a bad defense, does he mean make it even worse? on purpose?

Although, I'd expect him to go for a starting job somewhere. Or at least somewhere that he'll get big minutes.

They're trying to make the league's worst defense even worse. That's epic.

So... is Mo not gonna pass to LeBron now? Oh, and this might backfire on the keep LeBron front, as this likely moves his best friend to the bench.
Boobie wouldn't start anyway, and I think this trade means that Delonte will probably be traded soon-ish. If they do a sign-and-trade circa $8m then they could probably get a nice piece for him. Add into the fray Wally's expiring contract which increases in value the closer you get to the February trade deadline, and the Cavs could have a Championship contending team (note team, not player) come the end of the season. And that would keep LeBron happy. This is, without doubt, the most important 6 months in history for the Cavaliers. If they can build a great team around LeBron, he will probably stay. If they can't, they will sink back into mediocrity for the next decade or so.

i guess cleveland couldn't forget mo williams' 37-point outburst against them last year... solid player but a bit overpaid has good court vision but is selfish can stay in front of anyone but lacks concentration on defense very good scorer but makes bad decisions with the ball
