The only thing I see is that Yao and Yi plan on casing trouble.

i saw the game yestrday and i watch the first half on the link provided and all i saw reguarding Yi was they ran the offense he was the second pass at the foul line then he passed to a guard or small forward, who then got the ball to Yao, who took it to the basket. There were no plays for Yi, and i saw him rebound, and contest and block shots. Over and over the same plays. Yi shot 60%, 10 pts and boards a few blocks and a steal, in an offense which doesn't utilize him, yet people here still think he's garbage. Even though he's really only had half a year in the nba.................interesting...

The problem is due to the trade, Yi will forever be linked and compared with Richard Jefferson.

Yes, it's unfair. Also, there's something about Yi that makes people either like him or hate him.

There are still Yi bashing threads on RGM bucks forum every week. They actually admit, hoping Yi will bust so their trade will look good in future history.

You have no clue how much national pride I have right now. To see my country play in the medal rounds on home turf, watching those players faces light up, and the crowd roar. I teared up, and I only wish I could've been there.

hey no doubt... im just watchin cuz of yi... but i can see how much these players are happy to be playin for the CNT... but Yi always seems to be the last one with hands up... i really feel like he has some kind of beef with yao... can u comment on that? its like he never looks yao eye to eye... but he played a hell of a game... 11 boards and 9 pts... and wow biggest shot for the olympics for CHINA cuz now they have birth to single elim

It's not animosity towards each other. It's kinda Yi's beef towards always being under Yao's spotlight. Like when Yao left, Yi became the next goldenboy and got all the attention, in all those years Yao was gone. Now that Yao is back and its the beijing olympics and whatnot, he lost that light, and is back to being under Yao. I mean it would bug me too haha. It's like if MJ left and your the rookie who now gets to start for Chicago in his wake, and you go out there and get your team into the playoffs (Asia games) year in and year out, but MJ comes back from retirement and you have to play second fiddle or bench, it would suck now that you got your taste of it.

I think the player you're referring to is Scottie Pippen, with the exception that he was not a rookie
