    Seems legit. Turiaf replacement?
I think we could have done better than this.

    Who?

I guess this means no Zo then [IMG]

Oh well. All he needs to do is give us some good quality play like 5 minutes a game. Hope he can give us that. He's still relatively young as well

Nice signing. He always seemed decent at all of his stops in the NBA. I'm not sure why he can't stick with a team. Reminds me of Wilcox when he was sitting in the Clippers bench. Pretty good athlete, decent midrange shot, tough rebounder.

Kind of a random signing by the L's. Was that their last roster spot? Powell isn't a difference maker unless hes improved a lot in his 1 year absence from GS. He shows nice potential because hes very mobile, nice mid-range jumpshot, and an ok rebounder but I wouldn't want him in my regular rotation. Hes undersized, not a great finisher around the rim, rebounding is ok but nothing special, defense isn't very good (not terrible either though). Just a mundane end of the bench type big man. Not bad as your 12th man but I wouldn't expect him to really do anything noteworthy.

We currently have like 11 players signed under contract I believe. 12 if the Sun Yue deal is guaranteed.

I'm pretty sure this signing will be more of a training camp invite, to see how he does. I was looking at the stats, and he actually isn't too bad. He did a pretty good job for the Clippers when given the minutes. He had like 7 double doubles last year, with a 20/10 game. Not too bad. It's not like we're gonna count on him for much. He's probably just going to see like 5 minutes per game or something, since the front court is pretty much settled with Bynum/Gasol/Odom/Radman

He is a solid addition to any team IMO. Nothing flashy about him, he just goes out and plays. He's probably a hell of a lot cheaper than Zo as well.

He has a legit opportunity at making the roster and taking over Turiaf's role on the team.

Powell is a decent big man off the bench who can score around the rim and snatch rebounds.

He's a little undersized for PF, but he's got a thick frame.

This signing puts the roster at 14 players under contract. The last roster spot will likely come down to Koby Carl, Joe Crawford, or Dwayne Mitchell.
