Self-promoting jackass and part-time MMA fighter Tito Ortiz recently claimed that he was signing a groundbreaking contract with T-shirt retailer and part-time fight promotion Affliction--one that would revolutionize the sport for the athletes in terms of compensation. Well, that was a lie. Here is Affliction president Tom Whatshisname saying that not only is Tito's claim untrue, but he hasn't spoken to Tito about a contract. He also denies asking Affliction fighters to take a pay cut, a rumour that made its way to fighter Josh Barnett, who vehemently rejected the notion of doing so and is now in the main event for the next show.

lol, I was gonna watch it, but I don't feel like listening to 8 minutes of the guy to hear it. I'll take your word for it. Tito just likes getting attention any way he can get it.
