From what i've been reading and from the videos I've watched, he seems like he has great length, he can drive the ball, can shoot, and has PG abilties. What i don't like is he doesn't seem like a good defender, horrible actually, no post game, seems soft. His BBIQ is good tho. I think he needs to stay another year, if he comes over, he'll either struggle, or slip pretty far.
someone please merge with the prospect thread already created. please see which threads have been created and which haven't before posting a duplicate. thanks.
My favorite thing about Gallinari is that when I saw he was born on 8/8/88 I said "I bet he wears number eight!". And he does!

I posted my own thread, not aware that you had already made a thread, so I didn't even know said that.
I really don't know much about Gallinari because I haven't had much time this past year to watch anything but college ball with a little bit of NBA action on the side, but I have read recently about D'Antoni's relationship with Danilo's father. Apparently they played together for eight years in Italy and have maintained a relationship. With D'Antoni and Gallinari's father being such great friends, and the Knicks' worst statistical position both offensively and defensively being small forward, does anyone think the Knicks would snatch him up over a player that'll help revamp their image and give them more help defensively, like say an O.J. Mayo (if he slips), Anthony Randolph, or Eric Gordon?
