the Nets forum has the most posts, but the Lakers forum has more threads. What's up with that?! Consider this post to be my little part to put an end to that.
I believe the Lakers forum used to be the most active at JBB, and had the most active posters, including Shapecity, Brian, heuvon, and Mamba, back when JBB used to be around. All of the JBB threads were imported to S2. Meanwhile, the Nets forum has the most post because some start threads, while others feed off of those threads by addressing the subject. Sometimes, we go completely off-topic, and that ends into a lengthy discussion and/or argument that takes many posts. Also, we have things like the Haiku thread, Fantasy Basketball thread, and multiple game threads which include hundreds of replies. Hell, the Lakers thread with the 7th most posts contains the same amount of posts as our 23rd biggest thread.
Lakers forum was huge back on JBB. In the Nets forum it was me, Joker, and a few others who came in from time to time.
Us Laker fans kinda feed off of the news and the season. I remember back at JBB we used to make a thread for each game and just talk about it as we watch. Any article that was Laker oriented, good or bad, was posted by Shape or someone else, some would get replies, but some we'd just read and move on. During season, the Lakers forum is a great place for talk.
right, just like the olympics isn't a competition, because they are all part of the same athletic "community."
does this still count even though it has been moved to the OT forum? Or was that just a cruel joke played by a Laker fan mod?
