In most of the past Olympics, I have found a "new" sport that I enjoy watching. Unfortunately, I didn't get to watch much this year, so I didn't get that chance, but what about you? Did you discover a new sport from these Olympics?
I can't wait til I can watch Curling someday (I think Winter games). It is so random of a sport but come on, brooms and ice? Plus I hear it's pretty suspenseful.
I didn't know race walking existed before a few days ago. I thought it was the special olympics and people with handicaps were running but they were actually race walking. You aren't allowed to have both feet off the ground at a given time and there's judges all over the place waving yellow cards in dudes faces for lifting their feet. but then theres huge clusters of people and people in the middle are lifting their feet because the judges can't see. Also just started watching badminton and ping pong because they're badass. I actually played and thoroughly enjoyed playing badminton in PE in middle school. It was a guilty pleasure of most dudes at the time but a lot of fun (one time the japanese exchange students came and the girls wrecked shop on everyone in the class). Also watched a lot of gymnastics (no homo?) this olympics. Obviously watched swimming as well but only because of Phelps. BTW anyone else think that Phelps is kind of overrated because there are so many swimming events? If there was only one race no one would give a shit about him. Obviously hes in an individual sport but there are teams/athletes just as dominant as he is but he has an advantage in number of medals he can win because there's so godamn many swimming events. Also I enjoy watching beach volley ball. Its fun to watch, the US women's team owns shit, Misty May has a nice ass, and occasionally the other team is hawt as fuck too (i.e. Brazil).
