Just like Kidd needs to practice how to hit a shot, now there's an idea.

Which he does quite often, too.

And unlike Carter, Kidd does what is expected of him.

lol, No he doesnt.

04-05 = 0.398%
05-06 = 0.404%
06-07 = 0.406%
07-08 = 0.366%

OMG! Offensive Juggernaut just like VC!

And unlike Carter,
Ofcourse! He made Chris Paul look irrelevant in the 1st round of the playoffs last season and cruised to the 2nd round.

Good one, right there! How well did Carter play in the series against Toronto? We can keep going at this all day. It's amazing to me how you try to convince me that Carter isn't a failure, despite being so talented. Please.

If it wasn't for his fans, I probably wouldn't hate Carter as much.

LMAO, first comment on the Kidd FG% i posted.

Second of all, your talking about VC's play during toronto series?..Umm...i admit game 1 and 2 he was horrible, but game 3 and 4 he was D-o-m-i-n-a-n-t.....Dont you remember 9/10 FG in 1st half of game 3?...and game 4 his 6/8 FG in 1st quarter that actually resulted in blow out by Nets?...Oh and the reason Nets came back into game 5 all because of VC?....and Game 6 he played pretty decent because RJ was better during that game, so thats 2 games out of 6 games VC did not perform well.

It would have made more sense if you talked about the Cleveland series instead.

But Vince Carter doesn't have fans, because he sucks so much and he's such a failure.

Nobody likes Vince!

Well, he has one fan. That one fan hacked into the NBA's computers and gave him like a billion votes.

Clearly.

ill tell you how well

game 1 - awful 1st 3 quarters. very good 4th quarter including the biggest shot of the game, that layup past humphries. most important win of the series...in large part thanks to kidd, rj and boki BUT vince did contribute in the 4th

game 2 - pretty bad. i think he had around 21pts. shot bad. team was still competitive though. the challenge was on for winning the next 2 games.

game 3 - in my opinion, his 3rd best game of all time. absolutely unstoppable. he was possessed. destroying the raptors and capped it off with a sweet transition dunk. 37pts. as good as you can play

game 4 - more of the same. unbelievable energy and hit 2 amazing shots right off the bat. he threw down a sick reverse alley oop dunk that was #1 of that season. threw down another 1 handed alley oop next time down the floor too. he lead the nets to the blowout win and they were up by so much, raptors tv turned off the score.

game 5 - back in to and looking for vengeance. he played great this game. it was a flashback of his january 8th performance in 2006 where he had 42 and the gamewinner. he rose above the boos and played excellent and got boki an open 3 for the win...but boki missed. back to jersey we go

game 6 - he was not as hot as the last 3 games, but the energy and attitude was there. he pumped up the crowd quite a bit. he had a big game changing dunk in the 4th. nearly lost the game though....bad shot selection near the end. but rj got his back and nets beat em.

im as big of vc fan as there could be, and i was so proud of him after that series. no matter what happens in the future. he beat the raptors the first time they met in the playoffs. nothing can change that.

failure? please. save the word failure for OLOWAKANDI not vince carter, in my and many others opinion, a future hall of famer.

vince has a stigma....and its not gone away as magic johnson proved and as you proved by calling him a failure. do you people even watch him? do you see how hes playing? do you watch the press conferences? do you hear the praise by his teammates and coaches? its just amazing that after all he has done ... he gets treated like crap.

honestly, he is the most worthwhile athlete in basketball that i can look up to as a role model. i think he handles the criticism so well and is a genuinely good person. i know whenever i get extra money, i donate to his charity. i really respect him for that. his press conference when his high school dedicated a statue to him really moved me and made my respect for him go even higher.

yeah hes not kobe. hes not michael. hes not wade. big whoop. enjoy him for who he is and stop dwelling on who he isnt and why he sucks. i think that goes for life too. enjoy life....focus on the good things and you will attract good things. seriously man.

im very excited for this season by the way

I know that The Joker is 100x a failure than Vince Carter is that's for sure...if you want to have a perspective on it from your side instead of Michael Jordan's...

Kidd was expected to lead the Nets and not be a quitter.

Kidd was also expected to help the Mavs to AT THE VERY LEAST come out of the first round.

Stop hating on Carter fans... we like Carter like you like kidd.

Im not biased or anything, I know what carter does good and what he isnt good at.

And I also kno that kidd aint a good shooter....

Kidd was never......ever.....a good shooter.

lol Kidd's FG% past 4 years....or past forever.

04-05 = 0.398%
05-06 = 0.404%
06-07 = 0.406%
07-08 = 0.366%

If this is called good shooting, then i guess VC's shooting is as good as Michael Jordan.

Anyhow, i cant wait for the next season to start. Its going to be very interesting.

Kidd isn't a good shooter, but FG% is somewhat of an obsolete stat as well. Kidd's True Shooting Percentage has been closer to average efficiency, 2005-2006 is an example.

Kidd's shooting also isn't important since that's not what his game is based on. That's like criticizing Shaq because he can't shoot threes.
