Yup, and I take those criticizations and then I pick a player who may be able to somewhat cover up those deficiencies.
Actually you just critcized your two best players and then picked a player who will be able to juice his stats because of them. My team is dominant, mainly because unlike last year I stayed away from drafting Sh___n W_l__a_s in the 2nd round
Yeah hes been one of my favorite role players in the league for several years. Barely got recognition until a year or two ago in the playoffs but hes as good of a post defender as there is in the league, very good rebounder considering the playing time he gets, blocks shots every now and then and has a nice mid-range jumper.
I'd like to thank KC who just pointed out that YiNets took the same player in both drafts, but used an 11th round pick in one, and a 6th round pick in the other.
Hey guys, I'm starting school tomorrow all the way until January. So there will be times of the day where I can't update or anything, but once I'm out of class or between classes I will do my best to keep everything up to date for you guys. This by no means that this draft will slow...I won't let it Unless of course more of you draft the 1st and 2nd rounders
I went ahead and updated my own roster if you don't mind. Global mod action FTW. Just did JRay's as well, per his request.
Now that my team's starting 5 is complete, where do I pick up the crown for this? Bogut/Bosh/Battier/Salmons/Louis Williams 6th man:Marvin Williams Game over fellas, shut down perimeter D, with great EFFICIENT offense being run through my post players.
My team so far C & PF (interchangeable depending upon matchup): Nene and Frye SF: Bowen SG: Kevin Martin PG: Brandon Roy Bench: Earl Watson Getting skipped while I was driving hurt me a little bit with my top 3 SF choices all getting selected but the players fit together well so far. The backcourt will dominate the scoring while Nene and Frye can keep the floor spaced with Frye as a high post mid-range shooter and Nene playing in the low post. Bowen is a dangerous enough shooter that he has to be respected when parked at the 3 point line. On defense, Bowen will take the toughest perimeter assignment and Nene the toughest interior assignment. I added Watson as my first reserve because he can defend and play in the backcourt with either Martin or Roy.
I think we have enough Mods in this draft that we can all help out with PM'ing and updating 'the big draft board' if you're not around. I think we all want this draft to make it to the end
