The Rocky IV soundtrack, Journey too. Anything with synthesizers.

There was this techno version of "Total Eclipse of the Heart" but I can't find it anymore. That was cool.

This is a great thread. I am ALWAYS looking for good music to work out to--specifically, to run to. I go for complete albums instead of individual songs. I go for classic/hard rock mostly; songs with a steady beat and strong melody. Obviously we want to avoid ballads and soft poppish songs (but cheerful upbeat like Hall and Oates can work, because the tempo is right). These are some of the albums that I've been listening to recently:

    Van Halen--1984
    Springsteen--Born to Run
    ACDC--Back in Black/Highway to Hell
    Meatloaf--Bat out of Hell
    B-52s--Time Capsule (greatest hits)
    Boston
    Journey--Greatest Hits
    Dave Matthews--Crash
Styx--any of the greatest hits mixes
    Who--Who are You/Whos Next
    Huey Lewis--greatest Hits
    Queen--greatest hits
Bon Jovi--a mix made by a friend
    They Might be Giants

dumpy, I recommend T. Rex's "Electric Warrior" and "The Slider" albums to you then. there's a few ballads on it, but the other stuff is fun, good old fashioned rock and roll (released in 71 and 72 )

I'd recommend Pop Levi's latest album, "Never Never Love" , which is a fusion of T.Rex and Prince, with it's own twist. Lots of fun, uptempo, catchy stuff. Has a bit of electronics on it too, and maybe only 2 or 3 slower tempo songs.
