What's his status? I picked him up late in my money league. Last year he was one of the top fantasy backs until he got hurt, so I'm happy to get him. But when will be be 100%?
His knee seems to be responding well to rehab and he was scheduled to play right away in week 1. He did suffer a minor setback when he broke his thumb last week. On a positive note, its his non-primary hand thumb, so he should be able to play with it. After watching the first 3 preseason games, my gut feeling is that Ricky Williams is ahead of him, but if they are both healthy, they will split carries pretty evenly and the team will run the ball more than most teams, so he could be a good fantasy value....
What about Ted Ginn Jr.? I have him on my bench, but I'm hoping he has a breakout year. What do you think?
Same here. I'm picked him because I figured he'd get a lot of looks with no other notable receivers in Miami.
In my opinion, they are going to run the ball well....while that will limit the number of throws for the whole offense, it should help Ginn, because he will be the primary WR....as safeties creep up, his speed becomes an issue for CBs....I do question whether Pennington has the arm to take advantage of that speed....
Ronnie Brown looked like a healthy and explosive RB last night....he is slated to play in week 1, but I dont know if he will start....he will get half the touches though, which in Miami translates to 15 or more.....Id say hes a solid option for the season, but I wouldnt start him until I saw how the rotation was going to work....
