indeed, And i say this not just because I'm an Arsenal fan, But look at all the signings made over the last 2/3 seasons: Berbatov, Bale, Bostock Arshavin(maybe) and now Pavlyuchenko. All good players don't get me wrong but not league winners like Kaka, Ronaldo , Fabregas etc. I know Fabregas hasn't won the league (Yet) but if any club were to sign him then it would be mega-mega news. But Tottenham need to do what Arsenal are doing, Grow the youth team and sneak up on teams like Arsenal, Liverpool etc. In 3/4 years if Liverpool and (as much as i hate to say it) Arsenal don't improve quickly then Tottenham could be right up their Arses. But Arsenal have had a couple rotten seasons but are making leaps and bounds lately, Players like Fabregas, Clichy, Sagna etc are already world class players, and up-coming players like Walcott, Wilshere, Denilson and co. will be the next generation at Arsenal. People complain that Arsenal aren't English, What team dominates the U-19 and below (U-17, U-16 etc)catorgories? What team provides a lot of the U-19 and below in International games for England. Arsnal!. IMO we need to spend the money. You have to speculate to Accumulate.
To be honest, I have been very disappointed with Walcott so far. He hasn't really proved his worth - Just yet. Spurs fans expect too much from their team. They look up to us, as though we're Gods, so they set their goals way too high for such a dreadful, disorganized team. You cannot match what Arsenal do on the pitch, they should just give up now, or all this money they've spent will go down in vain. Flooding the team with new talent doesn't win silverware, it disrupts the team's flow, and creates problems on and off the pitch with chemistry, and 1st team disputes. A few of their signings this summer will settle in easily, but there are some that will take a few more seasons, or maybe they will never settle in. In my opinion, I see the Spurs board in "crisis" mode, and they have no idea what to do. They just need to relax, sit back, and start from the bottom. I have no idea where all this craziness came from anyway. Since when were they a title contending team? The closest I saw them get was when Arsenal snatched 4th place off of 'em a couple of years back. If they don't chill out, we could see a Leeds in the making. I'm being forreal. By the way, I was joking in those first few sentences up there. Meh, I wasn't...
