The UFC also has nothing in the works for November. I guess they're hoping Griffin will defend soon.

I read that Kenflo and Joe Daddy would be headlining or co-headlining the November card.

I don't imagine that being a strong enough main event to carry a very successful card.

Go Penn!! He's determined to prove to the world he's the best. Now thats just scary!!! He's never been this determined before. Can't wait to see him conditioned.

Haven't we seen him conditioned in his last dominant wins? I've read the same comments from you since before the same fight.

I think a more fitting comment would be: I can't wait to see a dedicated BJ vs. a dedicated GSP.

    Just an observation :)

Hell, every fight he's come in more conditioned than the last so he keeps surprising me. The fight versus GSP seems like the fight of his life and I expect him to be even better than his last fight at 155 versus Sherk. He's taking every fight personal and damn, I've never seen him like this. Penn has always been talented, but this last few fights he's taken his game to a whole new level. Its amazing. I can't stop saying it.

What will you be saying after he's man-handled by GSP? :D

St.Pierre would be smart to put Penn down on his back and elbow the crap outta him. Penn has amazing take down defence but GSP has amazing wrestling and I think he can get him down on his ass.

GSP didn't beat Penn in their first meeting. He wont again. Yes, GSP has progressed since the last meeting, but so has Penn. I dont see Penn losing this fight. I actually think Penn has the advantage if GSP tries to lay on him. Penn's Jiujitsu is incredible and his standup is just as good.

Everyone thought Sherk would pound him, out muscle him, and out endure him. All wrong. Penn owned him. Penn owned GSP the first time. He just couldn't finish due to conditioning and an injury. Can you imagine if he had trained a little harder??

GSP was beaten the hell up. Penn? Came out almost completely unscathed. Penn has incredible flexibility, rock hard heavy hands, sick jiujitsu, and crazy sprawls. He's going to dictate when he's going to the ground.

    CLASSIC!!!!

meh he did outstrike him the first round, but he couldn't finish him either. GSP is a much better fighter than their previous meeting, conditioning, strength and skillwise. BJ got a little more cardio.
Sherk admitted his stupidity at not trying to put it on the ground more, GSP won't make that mistake.
GSP has the skill and strength to get out of a lot of submissions and has excellent control from the top.
BJ cannot take GSP down, hell LHW's like rashad evans can't do it in practice.

GSP didn't get outstruck by Penn in their fight, he got poked in the eye and then BJ clipped the tip of GSP's nose. Both of those factors caused GSP's face to swell and look like he was getting damaged.

    http://www.fightmetric.com/fights/GSP-Penn.html (GSP=135 to BJ=104)

I'm not saying I think the striking game was in GSP's favour. I think it was even.

BJ doesn't have the power to KO GSP, and BJ's chin is too good for GSP to knock him out. I think their next fight will be a five round war of attrition with GSP maintaining top position but not passing guard, and when it is on the feet, it will be a duel between BJ's jab and GSP's leg kicks.

I've been hearing this alot by other GSP fans but hasn't Penn improved as well?

The problem Penn has always had was that fact he relied more on natural ability than on preparation. His cardio has been an issue in the past as well. BJ called GSP out so I think he's coming in with the mindset of a "MUST WIN" for him and I expect alot of aggression.

If your expecting GSP to take Penn down easily in this fight, I have to disagree. Penn's balance is incredible and I've seen him find ways to stay standing even when I was sure he'd fall.

I can see it going five rounds with the winner being the one with the better control of the match. I really dont expect GSP to be laying on Penn all night long.
