Miles Austin is a pretty good KR; so I'm not too upset with this. Though, I think Adam Jones has more big play potential.

The Austin injury is somewhat concerning too; he was having a good preseason/training camp... and might have been in the hunt for the number 2 WR position. Can you imagine the speed the offense would have on the outside with Owens and Austin? Yowza.

Also... Wade talked recently about Felix possibly NOT returning kickoffs for us. He was worried about injury. That to me, is a signal that they plan on making Felix a pretty important role in the offense. That's a good thing...

I agree whole heartedly about Felix, but I'm picking up a recurring theme between us and which young WR we've got our chips on. I've become really impressed with Hurd over the past year, and according to Hard Knocks (and the current injury report) he'll be a lock for the 3rd slot.

Plus have you seen the guy on the show? He must still be following TO around because he looks jacked

He apparently put on 10-15 pounds of muscle since last year. He is over 200 after being 190 last year.

Austin has far better physical traits than Hurd. Hurd's advantage has always been his hands, route running, and general WR polish.

But everything coming out of training camp has been how Austin has almost completely closed that gap.

Then you have Romo's comment.... how he told (forget who) a Dallas media member that we need to keep an eye on Austin this year; because he is the young WR that is going to break out this year.

Hurd at best, is a Crayton clone. Which, isn't a bad thing...

But Austin has the potential to be much, much, much more.
