Who do you want to watch the most. I personally am loving the news and tidbits I'm reading on Lopez.

CDR, no question. Excited about all of them, but CDR...especially with that new offense.

Yi. He's the best young prospect the Nets have had since Nenad.

    That's not what ESPN says.

All of them for different reasons. As I watch them play and see their potential with my own eyes against NBA competition I'll probably have higher expectations for one than the others.

Lopez intrigues me the most because he can have the biggest impact on how the rest of the team plays. It's not like we have a roster full of big men with a low post game.

Yeah, I gotta curb my expectations on Lopez after all the glowing pieces on him already.

For me, It would be Yi. I want to see if he can become a Dirk type player. CDR is interesting too. Even Anderson is interesting. Lopez to me will be in the starting line up within a few months. I know what he will bring to the table.

I want to know more about CDR, why is he so special? i mean he was a late pick in the draft, but what does he have that seems so special?

    Here's a scouting report.

The thing that intrigues me the most is that he's just a winner. He finds a way to get it done no matter the competition or limitation in skills (except free throws when the championships on the line :devilwink: ).

I've been a Ryan Anderson fan since Devon Hardin went down and he was left to fend for himself as a Freshman. Considering the mix of players on the roster, I'm not sure how Frank will use him. However, I'm fairly certain that he'll be a Frank type player because of his work ethic.

Brook Lopez for his personality. Since Mark Jackson left YES, they should really just mic up Brook all game. He sounds like a mix between Shaq and Ronny Turiaf. Plus, he's a legit 7-footer, a twin from Stanford, and his name sounds like a hot girl, so there's a lot to get excited about here.

    Runners up:
CDR - this guy will either be a 10-time all-star or be out of the league by Christmas.

Najera - for the distinct possibility that Lawrence Frank may send him into the game against Dallas to flatten Jason Kidd. If this happens and leads to a big fight and ejections, it WILL be the highlight of the season, and one of the 10 greatest moments in Nets history.

Brook Lopez. he didnt play well in Salt Lake, but in Orlando, he had as good a summer league as Beasley, averaged the same and showed a toughness and mean streak not seen here in a while.

After that, it has to be Yi because of his enormous potential. I like Anderson as well because everyone thinks he was a reach.

As for CDR, I am not persuaded he will be as good as others believe he will be. When you're a first team All-American and make it to the NCAA championships and still drop to the 40's, there's a reason. He's not a cancer. He's not injury-prone. He's not out of shape. He's not unknown. (And missing three foul shots that would have won the NCAA championship didnt help him.)

Harris first off. He is just so much fun to watch, and I'm excited to see his improvement and growth after being given more freedom and experience with the rest of the Nets.

Then Vince, to see if he regains his form after having a healthy summer.

The rookies (especially Ryan) and Yi follow next.

Most excited to see Yi in a Nets uni.

After that, I'm looking forward to see if Bobby Simmons can resurrect his career. Also wanna see Najera continue to be that hard-working hustle player that that has made him a fan favorite everywhere he plays.

Lastly, can't wait to see how all the rookies perform against top tier talent.

I assume you're referring to the ESPN article posted on Netsdaily. That article was useless for Nets fans. The the votes for "Worst Newcomer" were all over the place. The winners (Baron Davis and Jermaine O'Neal) had all of three votes. Yi was tied with four other players for second with a whopping two votes. Michael Beasley was tied for third with one vote, but was also voted "ROY" by an overwhelming 13 votes.

Of the 25 ESPN contributors polled, it's easy to decipher which two voted for Yi. Hollinger and Sheridan are known Yi haters. We'll see what happens when the season starts.

CDR because he will prove the doubters wrong. The guy has been doubted all his life. When he lived in Detroit he wanted to play for either MSU or Michigan. They didn't want him. He went to Memphis and was constantly doubted by the media because of his unorthodox style, his lack of strength, and just because he played in C-USA. Once again he was doubted in the draft and once again he will prove the doubters wrong.

I really haven't decided who I want to watch most, yet. I would love for each of them to contribute in their own individual ways when given the opportunity. I just remembered how many new guys we actually have. CDR, Lopez, Anderson, Yi, Najera, Simmons, Hayes, and Dooling. I'm pretty sure Lopez, Najera, and Dooling will contribute the most out of the squad; possibly Yi, too.

Anyway, I'm mostly interested in seeing which new players can bring it to the Nets squad.

The rookies are the easy choice but I have to go with Najera. It's been awhile since we had a real tough grind it out player on this squad and i'm super curious to how Frank is going to use him.

Im excited about Dooling and Yi. Dooling is the best player we picked up this offseason..he is good enough to be a starter on some teams in this league but is a good energy guy to have off the bench. He plays D and runs the floor. He should be our 6th man. And as for Yi..I think everyone is thinking he will be a bust but I think he will do well playing with VC and Harris. I can see him putting up a decent 10 and 5 night in and night out. But CDR and Lopez excite me as well. Hayes too. Najera and Anderson not so much, but we'll see
