Great signing it showed money doesn't matter if the name is the one you want to go to (real madrid, man city). He is allready ajusted to the prem and with the balls from the rest of the tream he could be top scorer this season. But I am slightly dissapointed in united considering the ronaldo saga. But good prospect for united.

It was a great signing, but does nobody else see it a bit steep?

31M + Frazier Campbell? We all know that loan deal has a clause to make it permanent. I rate Berbz as a world-class player, but his price tag should be 25M maximum.

It is the growing price in players. Anyway manchester united wanted him for 25 mill before city rejected it.

wow! Cristiano should focus on assits this season LOL especially when he has Rooney, Tevez and Berba to pass to. Very good signing by ManU. I feel bad for my 2nd fave team Real who cant seem to sign anyone LOL

kobe23, I'm in the same boat as you.

As for Real, after giving up on many stars they had, they seem to not be able to sing any more. They're still the best team in La Liga IMO.

Lol We are not able to sign new players?? The past 3 years we have won 3 trophies, 2 La ligas and supercopa. Since 2006 the team has seen 39 new faces. Now how can you say they can't sign anybody? Maybe they didn't sign a Ronaldo or Villa this year but we did reinforce our squad with Van der Varrt, De la red, Marcelo and Garcia.

Yes they are but La Liga isnt that good compared to the BPL even though the style of play is very different\

Seriously... if Real was that good why dont they have any other trophy outside of La Liga? Or at least a semi final showing in the Champions League. This years Champions League draw had Real Madrid seeded 8TH! LOL Thats the last spot in the 1st pot among the giants.

Yes we cant sign any quality and Battle - Tested players. De La Red, Marcelo and Garcia would be in the bench of other teams and they arent exactly new... they've just been out on loan or on the bench. Van der Caart i admit is a good signing but he can only be another Wesley sneijder, he doesnt have superstar potentail like lampard, ballack, crisitano, quaresma etc.

In the past players would jump the gun if real courted them i.e. Figo, Ronaldo, Zidane, Anelka, Makelele, etc. But now we have been turned down by Cristiano, David Villa, Huntelaar, Nasri (in the past), Benzema, Quaresma, WB's Diego, Fabregas, i could mention more but ive stated my point lol... anyone of these players would have drastically improved our squad.

That's irrelevant. He has a good argument.

Real need to start pushing for European dominance. They can achieve it.

Marcelo was with us last year.

The only position Real really needed is a striker. Raul is declining. Real is still in contention for winning it all and the favorite for La Liga.

He was on the squad but didn't have a big role... This year he should contribute much more.
