    Well we all know sir alex is retiring in three years tops, but who do you think realisticly will replace the great man? and also who would be the best choice? for the devils:devilwink:

    I think it will fall to either Steve Bruce or a World class foriegn coach to be honest.

    I thought that was the plan all along, wasn't it? If Sir Alex retires in two years, that's the off-season of the World Cup. Most national managers only go through one World Cup cycle anyway.

    I understand that the reason he left United is because the board wouldn't guarantee that he would be the next United manager, but I believe that he should be. I think that was their intention, but they didn't want to guarantee that to him. Hopefully they do it anyway.
