What do you expect in terms of time and production. I think that Lopez and CDR will see a great deal of time (or compared to other rookies in Frank's reign). Lopez is our only real low post threat. And like Nenad showed, Frank could give him sizable chunk of time. Then there is CDR who if he plays with energy and makes things happen, he should get some rub too (Hassan Adams like), if only for stretches at a time. -Petey
I agree that Lopez will get a lot of time. He's huge, and out most offensively-capable post player. Having a 15-foot jumper is just icing on the cake for Frank. I don't think our rookie wings (CDR, Ryan) will get much time though. There's too many experienced players at Frank's disposal that can play the SG/SF position who don't suck at it for Frank to give lots of minutes to the rookies. Both of them will do well with the time they are given, however. They're both hard workers, and Frank loves that.
I expect Lopez to have the most impact out of all our Rooks. I believe if he plays like he is capable of that he can eventually start over Boone at the Center position. I think he is our only Rook that has a shot at starting. I can see him maybe making the All Rookie 2nd team too. As for CDR, Im a fan. I expect him to be a scorer of the bench and a energy guy similar to Antoine Wright, but better I hope lol CDR will make some GMs wish they would of drafted him. I dont expect too much from Anderson being that we are pretty deep at SF with Simmons, Hayes, Najera, Hassell and even CDR and Yi can see time at the SF spot and I think they are all better than him with the exception of Hassell maybe. So I think he is a project and nothing more..still a nice pick up though
i expect all 3 rookies to contribute!!! damn rite i do... and they are goin to be our little x factors... Yi is our major x factor and vc and devin should already kno what they have to do to give our team a shot at winning every game
