I think Germany have the best chance at winning and that's not based on my loyalty. Second on my list are the Dutch. South Africa has strong Dutch and German heritage and both may as well feel right at home. Rounding out my top five are Argentina, France and England. Yes that's right, England. The African nations I feel have a great chance at doing very well and exceeding expectations are Cameroon and Morocco. The Moroccans are quickly climbing back up the ranks and soon enough I bet will be the best team in Africa again.
The problem with Spain is that they did not win the Euro by great performances just the other teams failed to deliver against them e.g Netherlands
I have Germany, Brazil, England, Holland, Argentina and Croatia in that order. But like you said M21, I'm pretty sure Deutschland will win it all in 2010.
I don't think Brazil has a chance to even make it to the round of 16 to be quite honest. Their team is a big mess right now. They still have that triangle hole in the defense and their midfield is going down the toilet. Their strikers are either overweight or have been too careless with building on their strengths. I was surprised they made it as far as they did back in 2006.
They need to pull themselves back together, It would be great for any country now just to take the opportunity of so many problems with the other nations.
