It's good to know that he already has an idea about where he should be on the floor, that is going to be huge. Compare that to Sean who has the ability to be a decent scorer on the low block, but rarely gets the opportunity because he doesn't know how to get his looks in the system of 5 players. So much of the transition to the NBA is being able to utilize your raw talent and apply it in a way that you're able to shine. I've got to say that I'm pleased.
I really like Brook's BBIQ. Time and time again, we see how much Vince has become a leader this off season. This is another example. Yeah, I'm really excited for this season!
If we're going to play DDM offense, then the center has to be able to hit the 15-footer with consistency. Lopez is the only center on the Nets who has proved that he do that. This might be Franks best alternative there. But Brook is a rookie who needs to be eased into the NBA. He'll be facing skll and talent way beyond what he has seen before. Now, he'll be just thrown into the water, sink or swim. On the weakside he'll be occupying Yi's best spot on the floor, pushing Yi into the far corner, where his height, reach, an ability to dunk over people will be useless. Maybe we should now just move him for a PF who shoots the 3.
well stated... we need lopez to hit the 15-18 ft jumpers so the guy guarding him will not cheat over when harris or carter or even cdr drive by their man... that will leave us with lopez on the weakside and Yi as another potential open man... Yi can be replaced by najera or anderson... wow i cant wait... all these guys can shoot... now its a matter of executing the plays!!! lets go FRANK get em ready
