Jets scored already, about 4 minutes into the game. What's with the DWO?

The Dolphins are good enough to beat the Jets, and I'd be extremely happy if they did just that. It's now tied 7-7.

Jets have broken this game open with Favre picking the Dolphins apart. I like what I've seen from Chansi Stuckey.

Damn! The Dolphins had a chance to steal this one, but they couldn't pull it off. Nice job by Chad to get them in scoring position, but he pulled a Tony Romo when it really mattered.

I didn't get to see the game. Was there anything positive the Dolphins can take from the game?

I switched over to see the Cubs choke up a 3-1 lead in the bottom of the ninth to lose...

What I did see was the Dolphins QB go 1-5 his first 5 passes for -1 yards. Looked terrible.

The Dolphins pass rush was decent. They put pressure on Favre all game long, but Favre was able to connect with his off balanced fade away passes. Most QB's in the league wouldn't be able to make those plays.

The stats don't show a whole lot to be happy about. It looks like the Dolphins couldn't get a running game going and they couldn't stop the Jets.

I didn't see the entire game, but I would say this game was a step forward from the embarrassment that was last season. They probably should have won the game.

Dwo 4 life/proud to bleed aqua and orange

It was on here. Pennington started slow but did okay. His shoulder appeared fine. The 1st and 3rd Quarters were awful for the phins.

Jest Special teams was bad. They should have been up 24 or 25 to 7 in the 4th making any rally futile. I thought there was a chance Miami could pull it off w/ 1 minute left.

I was pragmatically optimistic heading into the season. The WR corps is a work in progress. They were jamming Ginn and making impoissible for him to bust loose. Camarillo had a few good catches. Davonne Bess will be good but needs to work on his blocking.

Ricky, Ronnie, Fasano, & even David Martin were carrying the load today. Sparano & Henning aren't afraid to make gutsy but decent play selections when needed.

Miami should use 2 TE's, Ricky, Ronnie, & Ginn as their base formation and use it almost half the time. When Brown & Williams are in at the same time. 23 needs to line up in different places and do alot of shifting kinda like when he was @ Auburn w/ Carnell Williams.

The OL did alright. The front 7 on D did okay. There are still some issues w/ the secondary. Jake did okay... better than Gholston!

On the whole, I am encouraged and can see the phins emerging from the darkness they've been in since '03. I say 5 wins this year are reasonable. By 2010 IMO, Miami will be challenging the Bills for division supremacy... The cheatriots & jest will be really old news by then.

I'm just glad Broadway has found diva.... something about a green #4. :biglaugh:
