Sounds like I missed a helluva game. Bush had a good day receiving... Brees was back to his usual form.

Bush's TD was amazing. He should just do more of that running the ball. :(

What do you think the problem is with Bush' running, La Bomba?

I think every time Bush gets a carry, he tries to take it to the end zone. He's always looking for the big play instead of looking for the hole. I think that's a problem, because in the NFL you're not going to beat the defenders every carry like he did in college.

He'll never be the 1,300 - 1,500 yard back that people thought he could, but he could be a 1,000 yard back who is also a threat as a receiver, like he showed in game 1. I think the Saints are finally going to utilize Reggie the proper way this year, and it's going to pay dividends for them. He will be their biggest offensive threat.

Reggie Bush is an explosive player, even if he isn't living up to the billing of being a great RB. He's still a great weapon.

I was a big Bush fan going into the draft. I expected him to be a 700 yard rusher, 1100 yard receiver and 1500 yard returner

He simply does not read his holes.

I wasn't a huge Reggie Bush fan coming out of college.... but I thought in time, he could become a near 1000/1000 kind of guy.

I personally think Bush will show some glimpses of what we expected out of him. Next season he will show what he can do.
