To Dare it To Do Well, I'm doing it and I'm going to become a fan of the Spurs. I don't know much about them yet, but I'm looking forward to learning about the team that plays at White Hart Lane.
Ah, a solid choice .. although Max and Main Event will probably try to kill you, but you can defend yourself well enough. Thankfully you didn't choose Middlesbrough.
Main Event was the final tipping point to get me to pick them as my team. Last year, I posted this thread looking for suggestions http://sportstwo.com/forums/showthread.php?t=46309 As I looked into it, I thought the Spurs emblem was amusing and they weren't a member of the G-14 nor had they won any recent titles (obviously that changed with the Carling Cup but I didn't know that until after I made my decision). Then recently, Main Event said something about the Spurs in the RTT http://sportstwo.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1689649 and after a brief exchange, I became a Spurs fan to torment the Arsenal fans. Not the cleanest way to become a fan, but here I am. Why?
Well, for one thing their fans are complete crap. They are the first to head for the exits if their team in losing. They're never satisfied and they always bitch and complain about everything. Boro fans are known for being some of the worst and most-undedicated supporters in the UK. People in Newcastle hate them so much that if you punch one before a match the ultras will buy you free beer for the entire 90 minutes.
