New Orleans Saints receiver Marques Colston will miss four to six weeks recovering from surgery to repair a torn ligament in his left thumb. The injury, first reported by Fox Sports on its Web site, looms as a big loss for the Saints, as it costs the team a receiver who has gained more than 1,000 yards in each of his two NFL seasons. Colston had 98 catches for 1,202 yards last season and caught three passes for 26 yards in a win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 1. The team, which has yet to officially announce the injury, will be counting on Devery Henderson and David Patten to step up in Colston's absence. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3579404
