about the subject of this thread: Is there any team name that you could replace "Grizzies" with and have it not be true?

"Sam Smith, who covered the NBA for roughly 126 years for the Chicago Tribune, once took a good stab at re-creating Randolph’s rap sheet. I’d include it in this column but, honestly, I don’t have the room."

I read this before. It's pretty pathetic that the Grizzlies would prefer Randolph before Gasol.

Gasol had worn out his welcome in Memphis to the point the home fans were booing him. Memphis also was able to use Kwame Brown's expiring contract to get well under the LT threshold.

I don't believe anyone in their right minds would trade Gasol for Randolph, even with a couple of young potential players thrown in. It's not like Randolph is going to put butts in the seats, either.

I actually like the young core of guys Memphis has now. Memphis should let them play, and then address things with the draft.

Props to Roy for being a bold enough rookie to stand up to Randolph when he was acting boneheaded.

The Grizzlies should just keep their options open and develop their young core. Trading for ZBo doesn't make any sense, even if the Knicks included a 1st Round pick. The Grizzlies should wait until next summer and pursue a front court player like Lamar Odom or Chris Wilcox.

The Grizzlies should keep all there young players and their cap and don't add any cancers like Zach Rondolph.

I think the Grizzlies would bite if a 1st rounder were thrown in though.

    Deal's off.

Knicks are looking to deal him elsewhere, or they're going to have him on the roster.
