This game has been UGLY so far. Anyone else watching it? Being an Iowa fan, I'm glad we're up 3-0, but for the love of god, it should be more than that. ISU has been playing horrible. Anyone see the end of their last drive? They get a delay of game because they didn't get the audible in on time, and then they had to burn a timeout cause they did it again, and then, to add insult to injury, they threw a pick when they get the play in. Now....Iowa gives them great field position because of a 30something yard punt and then an extra five yards because of an illegal formation penalty. Ugh...
Moo, quick OT question for you. Is being a fan of Iowa or Iowa State a family thing or is there a dividing line in the state?
It's more of a family thing. Most of my close relatives are Iowa fans...I think there's only a few ISU fans in my entire family actually. It also helps that I grew up MUCH closer to Iowa City as opposed to Ames. I'm about 45 minutes from Iowa City and about 2.5hrs from Ames. However, I do have friends that are ISU fans...I have no idea what's wrong with them, but whatever, lol.
