Re: Random Thought Thread Buy it from the book store. It should be pretty cheap, especially if you have to buy the Windows version. My bookstore had the windows version for $30...of course I had to buy the Mac version, which was around $100...oh well. All on my financial aid anyway though.
Re: Random Thought Thread $30? That's a waste. Really, OpenOffice.org It's for free. You can open Microsoft Office files. Save as Microsoft Office files. It's easier to use than the new Microsoft Office.
Re: Random Thought Thread Yeah I saw the openoffice.org, not sure if I would be able to transfer files smoothly to Microsoft office though, that's my problem. I'm downloading the 60 day trial right now, and will probably end up buying it, since I need it in the future as well.
Re: Random Thought Thread OpenOffice.org stinks. I was using that for the first 2 weeks of school, and it was such a relief when I got MS Office, and started using that.
