The Cubs definitely have been the best team so far this season, is it finally their year? Can the Mets stay healthy and get help from their bullpen? Which recent eight game streak is the real Dodgers? Can Webb lift Arizona? Which of Philadelphia or Milwaukee will win the Wild Card? Can either of them win the NL?
I know I probably shouldn't say this, but I still think Arizona is going to have the best shot if they can get it together. Their starting pitching is awesome, and I think them picking up Jon Rauch from Washington is huge. The starting staff for the Dodgers is not too stable. Chicago would be in a lot better shape if Zambrano's arm wasn't going to fall off. I have no idea if last season is going to help motivate the Mets or just haunt them, no one can seem to get past it. Their pitching isn't on solid ground w/ Maine and Wagner hurt and Pedro being a huge question mark. Right now I like Milwaukee for the wild card, CC has totally changed that team for the better. He's unbeatable on the mound right now.
I think it's hard to argue against Milwaukee. CC has been unbeatable and their offense has been solid as well. With the Cubs, I like their team, but I don't like them nearly as much if Zambrano isn't healthy. Their pitching staff is still solid, but not know whether or not your ace is going to be around to win that big game has to be at least a little disheartening.
Dodgers appear to have captured some magic. I'm not sure how far they can go, but I don't expect Arizona to be able to catch them
Our relievers, while better lately, still scare me. You can't get very far in the playoffs without a good bullpen.
