I forgot how good and bad it was :D

Leben was such an immature jerk, I remembered that, that's why I like him now, he's improved himself so much. He still needs to grow up, but I like him as a fighter regardless.

and LOL at the challenges. I like the idea of challenges because it does add another aspect to the show instead of watching these guys act like ass clowns in the house, but ummm they need better MMA related challenges or something

I hated people going home for losing challenges but season one was the most interesting and produced a lot of good fighters.

I liked season 1 alot, with the challenges and stuff. I thought they had the best characters in the house, and the most interesting personalities. Some guys after them I think just tried to act like that for TV time(Jeremy May,) while guys like Chris Leben were just nutcases.

the fact that it's Chuck and Randy as the coaches add something extra special to the first season too.
I didn't really know who they were when I started watching the show, but it's what got me into MMA again. I had rented the early UFC's, but well they were dull IMO for the most part. The sport is so much more interesting today with better rounded fighters.

This was the show that got me into MMA. I remember flipping through the channels and found my way to the finale on spike. I thought I had stumbled upon some sort of illegal PPV channel.

You know, I never watched the first season because SPIKE was still not available here on Guam so it was actually great to watch even though I knew who the winner would be. Diego tore up Kenflo! Damn!!!

Diego's an incredible flake, but he's a good fighter.
too bad he got jealous of GSP training at Jackson's with him and left. It may hurt his career some.

I think he's dropped too much bulk, he used to bigger and could get most guys on the ground and pound them.

It's funny that Diego won the 185 title over Kenny and now Diego's at 170 and Kenny is at 155. Shows how good both of them are.
