I love it. The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the interior.

you have a terrific memory. Even aside from that, it is an amazing, well built car. There's almost never anything wrong with it, other than the usual replace spark plugs/belts/seals/water pump that comes from age. The only drawback is that some of the components are very hard to reach and cost a lot of money. For instance, when we were at about 90,000 miles, our mechanic recommended that we replace--something--(don't remember what, maybe one of the belts), and he said it was expensive and time consuming to do on the Lexus because it took a lot of effort to get to it, just from the way the car was designed.

I've taken it to a dealership for service two or three times. It is true they provide great service (and they'll loan you a current model as a loaner car), but they are also overpriced. Once I took it to the dealership after I bounced over the center grassy median on a divided highway, because I wanted them to do a diagnostic to ensure that I didn't do anything bad. The other times were when the check engine light wouldn't go off and my mechanic couldn't figure out why (in both cases, Lexus told me what the problem was, and my mechanic did the work for about a third of Lexus' quote).

One day I got into the bus and the brake pedal went right to the floor and didn't come back up again. Good thing I wasn't driving.

So I got a ride over to Economy Imports and they gave me this thing that looked like the brake cable on a bicycle. I crawled under the bus, which had really high clearance and there was a hook in the front (on the back of the brake pedal, actually) and one in the back by the rear axel. Took about 15 seconds and the brakes were fixed.

Didn't need a loaner for very long on that one, just a ride :)

I have driven a few of these cars and they are really really nice for the money. Really.

I test drive a lot of the cars at work when I feel like driving something different. Someone needs to drive them to make sure they don't rattle or have wind noise. I am pretty good at noticing these things.

I drove a new Miata but I had to put the top down because my head sticks up past the roof.

I would have thought you drove a speedy car that was stolen.

The Toyota Matrix is pretty good. I don't drive but i've been in this car and it's pretty comfortable. Also pretty affordable.

Got a great price on the lease. In the past 4 months that has doubled when I had to get a fender replaced (hit and run), and when I cracked the rim on Saturday, dealer called and it was $535 to replace... ouch.

I would have guessed two cars: Lincoln MK IV, and Toyota Supra.

    :)

Well it's my first car that my parents gave to me. Hopefully, one day, I would be able to own a Toyota Supra. I can always dream...
