Kwame is a bad starter but hes an okay backup, $8mill is a bit steep for that but it's not that bad.

Wow, not gonna lie, that sucks.

I'm glad it wasn't the Nets, though. It's sad enough they were actually going for Kwame.

I feel bad for Piston fans

On the surface, Kwame may not look too bad. He's a big body and he can provide some defense.

But trust me. Once you endure him for half a season, you will be pulling your hair out. Everytime this guy touched the ball on offense, I couldn't breath

I actually think Kwame fits perfect on this Pistons team. He has no pressure to be the go to guy anymore or do anything spectacular.

I equate him to McDyess who was in a similar situation but found a nice niche role on the team

LOL, Kwame Brown will never be as good as McDyess. Dude has horrible knees and still is a good role player. Kwame is healthy and isn't even serviceable. Kwame fits in perfectly with birthday cakes :biglaugh:

Given that the Pistons are up there in age, their salary cap situation, and their needs, signing Brown isn't a bad move. The deal is for less than the MLE ($8M for 2 seasons).

Maybe because he was still recovering from a career-threatening knee injury?

Before his injury, McDyess was a terrific player. I don't know anyone who's said that about Kwame. Maybe Jordan before he drafted him.
