Hey guys, I've been a Nets fan since 1998, I'm now 20yrs old and can finally afford season tickets with my die hard Nets fan friend. My question is when do the tickets usually get shipped out to holders? I know this might sound stupid, but I've been on the edge of my seat everyday checking my email waiting to hear anything about the tickets. I'm just really excited to finally have 2 seats to call my own (section 225 row 5) for the whole season. The last 3 years Ive gone to an average of 20-25 games (including playoffs) buying my tickets through Ebay and Stubhub. I figured it was time to cough up the cash to sit in the same seats all year. And I believe in the long run it will save me some cash as I only paid 600.00 for the two seats during the 299.99 full season promotion. Any info on when the tickets come out or when they have shipped in the past would be great. Thanks guys, and if your in my section don't be shy to say hi, ill be the one in the personalized #88 MANCHESI Home Nets Jersey. Enjoy the season!
I happen to have my welcome letter from last year in my pile of stuff on my desk. It is dated Oct 3rd, so the package is delivered the first week of Oct. Enjoy. One advantage that I found is that the Access and Experience Dept really is helpful to season ticket holders. They can help with additional tickets at discounted prices.
I recently got a letter from the Blazers saying our tickets would be shipped on 9/22 and arrive here the week of 9/29.
Yep, I believe I got my tickets the first week of October last year. I'll only be going to 7 games this season (which may be reduced for a certain reason) , but have lower level tickets. Super excited.
Hey PsychoNetsFan, i was actually in section 225 last year, the nosebleed section. To tell you the truth, it was better watching games on TV than in that section and it was behind the basket. One good thing about the season tickets though, is that they'll occasionally send you tickets to games with good seats. I remember i got some lower level seats for free last year which was great.
Yea I know what you mean with the whole behind the basket thing, but Ive sat in that section before and didn't mind it. Also I get rowdy at games and leave the game with no voice, you cant get that kind of action just sitting at home(and this year I'll be 21 so ill get to enjoy the game with a few brews ). And do they really just send you free tickets like that? If so that would be great considering my girlfriends brother is a big fan and it would be nice to give him tickets to go with his dad. Never hurts to score some bonus points with your future wife's family lol.
21 and your talkin bout wife? are u crazy... haha jk... i guess this is the year of the gentleman ^^ or our american morals coming up?!?!
Yeah, I know. We aren't thinking about getting married just yet, more like after college. Ive known her know for about 6 years, we were best friends in high school and then decided to go out in college. Now I just gotta turn her into more of a Nets fan to make it perfect. She went to about 10 games last year but she tells me that's because she was in love with Boki Nachbar. She might have been the most upset person in New Jersey when he left for Europe. I told her she needs to come to at least 10 games this year...she agreed....but I think it had something to do with me saying if she did, I would take her to Bloomingdale's and buy her any purse she wanted.
For the past few years there have been a bunch of advantages for half + full season plans that you may want to call your rep and get the details on: 1) Missed game exchange - You mail in your unused tickets and they'll hook you up with tickets to another game. Last year we missed 3 home games and at the end of the year mailed in all the tickets and were able to take 3 other couples with us to a game. 2) Just call and be friendly and ask if they can get you extra tickets to a game. Obviously if you ask for a Knicks, Rockets, Lakers, etc game they won't be able to do much for you. 2 years ago we were comped 4 lower level tickets to a Hornets game, simply because I called and asked if there was a way to get some extra tickets. 3) Emailing your tickets to a friend. Can't make a game but no time to send your tickets to a friend? There is a feature where you can email an E-ticket to a friend who can print that out and go to Will-Call and get their seats. We did this once and my friend said they also included a free hotdog + soda when he picked them up... I'm guessing they use the opportunity as a chance to "sell" your friend on the experience. RE: Marraige - It's a choice you only make once (hopefully) so take it super seriously!
Wow, thanks for all that info. I guess I should get to know my rep. A couple of weeks ago I think my rep called but it was super early like 9am, and I just let the voice mail get it. Probably should get back to them so I can take advantage of these offers. Off Topic-And on the whole marriage thing, yea I am taking it really serious. I have already opened a savings account so I can start saving for both of us, and so has she. What can I say we are really in love....I know sappy

Lol. Ok thats the last time I make a little comment about something like marriage again on here....throws everything off topic. But thank you for the info on the perks...makes me wish I would have became a season ticket holder a long long time ago.
