Houston has a glut of guards, and as inriguing as Damon is, it's not really worth it. I mean look at the guards that Houston has: Brooks Alston Strawberry Head Francis Granted one of these guys might get cut, it's still alot of guys. Damon would be better suited trying to get a spot on the Golden State roster seeing as how they are in need of a PG for now, since Monta might be out for an extended period of time. Right now the rumor is that GS is trying to pawn off Harrington for Tinsley and Daniels. Tinsley and Daniels are two more guards that will bolster an already packed backcourt. Signing Stoudamire, while keeping a frontcourt player (for now) in Harrington, they are more balanced and still fix the situation that they have.
saw damon play at fonde rec center here in houston this summer................was not impressed...............please stay away from him rockets.............
I remember a few years back when Rockets were interested in him and he chose Spurs over us I believe and now he wants back with us? No way! We are already stacked up at the point guard spot!
