Wow, this would be a great deal for Bayern since Poldi wants to leave them anyway. Plus Gomez is a fantastic scorer.

Haha, that was funny how he couldn't score.

As a Bayern fan I'd love to see this happen Claud.

Why does Bayern want Gomez? I know Klose and Toni are getting old, but they're the same player. I know Podolski isn't playing well, but he's different.

A great deal for VfB Stuttgart, a possible bad deal for Bayern. Why? Well the two players are different and Bayern doesn't need another center forward when they already have two. Podolski is a second striker and Gómez is a center forward. Unless Bayern rid of Toni or Klose, there is no point in this transfer. Also, don't bitch about Super Mario, the guy scored 28 goals in 32 appearances last season and 6 goals in 7 appearances so far this season for Stuttgart. Bayern doesn't represent national level, what is important for a club is how a player plays at club level.

But his bad form in the nationals must mean something!

I'm wondering because that's like being a Celtics fan but also a Lakers fan.. lol. I know for a fact my 74 year old grandfather that lives in Spain hates Manchester United because they are one of our main rivals in European football. And I have been to Madrid countless times and have never seen a person wearing a Utd jersey  The locals hate Man U. :devilwink:

I went to Roma on a school trip last year, on the week on the manchester united v roma game at old trafford, I put on my united jersy on the day of the game. My mates said it would be suicide, but I was in the tube and hobo's there too, I saw a man shout at me and run towards me speaking italian. Then he said "United.....win.......yes" I agreed that I thought Unied would win shook hands and went off. Then 2 days later on my last day I saw him again, and he saw me and shouted "oh....United....win...win....good game" he talked a bit, before I left on the underground, but for an italian who knows little english I congratulate him now.

    True story!
