I'll second this. A nice device if you look at all the third party software being written for it now.

You never worry about changing the battery because it's solar powered, and you never worry about it losing time because it syncs up by radio signal with an atomic clock. It's only $95, so well under the $300 you list. Use the rest of the dough to buy the Orange Box (Portal alone makes it worth it), and porn sites.
I'm not really a gadget geek, but I'm pretty stoked about the new google-engineered Android phone that is coming out for T-Mobile to rival the iPhone for AT&T and the LG Dare for Verizon. Although that's not slated to come out until October 17, so I guess I couldn't get it THIS weekend, as your question asked. -Pop
