The entire series against Denver provided a ton of great moments for us, play-wise. Personally, when we won the Western Conference Finals over the Spurs in the fashion that we did was just awesome to see. That and seeing Kobe get his MVP award finally. Priceless.
Aside from the highway robbery that was the Gasol trade? I'd have to say Bynum performing as well as he did before he got hurt.
Well, if there was any "season changing" game, it had to have been that final victory over the Hornets. It basically assured us of the #1 seed.
There's a lot. Obviously Kobe winning the MVP was great, us going so far in the postseason was great. But my favorite moment of the season was the victory over the Suns at Christmas. That was when I started to feel we really had a solid group that could actually accomplish something. And obviously taking it to Mike D'Antonie was great, when he actually had to nerve to show us up after we ran them off their homecourt. And winning on Christmas obviously isn't anything to complain about.
Favorite moment....... Kobe getting the MVP Trophy and his teammates joining around him. While he was talking to the crowd and you could just see pure joy coming out of him. And then to see it turn into fire when he said, "Let's get this party started!" That was awesome. Favorite play......... There were so many. One being Kobe's behind the back first, then spin off baron, then the wrap around pass to Turiaf for the dunk against the Warriors. Another was the reverse against N.O. in that last game where he just put the exclamation point on the game. Favorite game....... Probably when they beat Phoenix in Shaq's 1st game. Or when he just torched J. R. SMITH in game 2 of the 1st round. Kobe- "You shake the tree a leopards gonna fall out."
