    9/20: Lester (15-5) @ Halladay (18-11); 1:07p.m. ET
    9/21: Matsuzaka (17-2) @ Richmond (0-2); 1:07p.m. ET


    INJURY REPORT:
    BOS: Mike Lowell (no DL specified, I doubt we see him in this series)
    TOR: McGowan, Accardo (15DL), Hill (60DL)



    Sox 1.5 games back behind the Rays, final road series of the year. 2/3 is always nice, especially since the Rays have to deal with Minnesota for 4.

    Yeah 2/3 is good. But I feel like we need to make a statement and take 3/3.

    That'll be hard with both Burnett and Halladay to deal with.


    I can just sense that Byrd will get shelled tonight. This will be his 5th start in the past month and a half against the Jays. Francona should've just pushed him back and started Bowden.

    I can't see the Rays losing this series with both Burnett and Halladay going on consecutive nights.

    2 out. BTW these Jays retroes are hideous. Baseball is the one sport where retroes just fail.

    Apparently we clinch a playoff spot today if we win and both the Yankees and Twins lose. I'd really rather the Twins win though, since they're playing the Rays.

    Sox win and take 2 out of 3. Twins beat the Rays, they split that series. Sox are now 1.5 back.
