Seems like the Jazz are following the Lakers example of charging a premium on some tickets. Now the Jazz have included the Nets as 1 of their 10 games for a premium price. The article I read this in speculates it's due to Carter. Now what happens if Carter gets hurt? Or one of he other superstars which is causing these teams to charge a premium price? I think it's bad business. What do you think? What if that happened to you? Why won't they just raise ticket prices slightly over the 41 games at home instead of charing a premium on select games? -Petey
Well I think it does make sense. I would pay more to watch the Celtics, or Lakers than I would to watch the Knicks. I understand that it sucks if the star player is injured. But I mean lets say I paid regular price at another franchise other than Jazz or Lakers and I pay for a Cavs game and Lebron is out, it would suck. They should have premium games, and reduced price games (say against the Knicks, Oklahoma, Grizzlies), because why would I want to see a Grizzlies game at the same price as a Celtics game? However if they charged less maybe I wouldn't mind going to see a Grizzlies game. However I'm sure lowering ticket prices could be demoralizing to those teams. lol
