ok man you got me. right after i posted that i started wondering if i was way off and completely fucking stupid and ignorant about the subject, but i always thought the term was used to describe spainish speaking people from south america. are portuguese people hispanic too? or germans that speak spainish? or those goddamn french bastards? i really dont know, feel free to enlighten me. it just seems odd to lump in argentinians with spainish players.

lotta familiar names here already who seem to be well invested into the site. so whats the deal, is this the new homebase or what? im kinda over BBF - place has been on a massive downward spiral since verticalscope took over so im happy to ditch that hole n hang here if thats where the regulars are going to be at. i was thinking of even firing up theblazingtrail.com again but i just checked now and i have about 40,000+ spam posts about porn *sigh* one day maybe what is this anyways... our 4th migration? last one lasted about 6yrs so hopefully we'll stick it out here for a while too. yeah i was wondering why bbf was sucking so hard recently (or not so recently if you have any form of individual opinion and class....) and it seems everyone has escaped to greener pastures glad to be here, lets get working on that post count!
Well, I found out about most of what happened second-hand before I came here. I only knew that something had happened with the OT forum, that Maxie had been banned, and that ABM had been banned after he sent some PM's (I got one). I hit up a friend (I'm not saying who) and they told me about this place. I didn't know that HCP had been banned. I started posting on BBB.net in 2003 when I first started covering the team. I didn't post much because I wanted to try to keep a professional relationship with you guys (writer/reader). After I stopped writing I pretty much let it all hang out Things kinda went to shit on that site after the transition to BBF. It has never been the same site. A lot of the posters there now don't even know my history on that site, or that I covered the team. Some of them might know me as the douche that got Greg Oden in trouble lol. Anyway, maybe I'll wait until the forum is packed during a game or something and write a post about my migration over to S2. Of course it will be deleted, but maybe I can get the word out for a couple minutes.
Just saw that I had received a PM about this place about a week ago. It's nice to have an alternative to the old site. (And it's good to see some of the names here, too!) Just in time for the season, no less.
When and why were you banned? Who else has been banned? ABM and maxiep. I heard taht XericX was banned as well. Anybody else? It seems like there was at least one more, but I'm not positive.
I just mentioned that our Olympic team was all black guys. I said if we were to send an "All White" team, who would be on it? Some guy from Michigan banned me calling me a RACIST! ME!??!? My boy Dan talked to him and I guess the guy changed his mind.
