Please vote for the teams that you guys believe are the best teams. The leader of the division will be taken and put into the playoffs accordingly. The rest will be put with the rest of the league to determine the non-divison leader seeds in the playoffs. Please everyone participating in the GM Draft vote. This poll is not limited to the Central Division, everyone is free to vote here. I also ask that if you come on to vote, please vote in ALL of the divisions. we have a bit of a race here, it's a really tough call as the Cavs, Bucks, Pistons and Pacers all have solid teams. I chose the Cavs because all 4 teams have good starters, the Cavs have what I think is the best bench.
I vote for myself, but not just being a dick lol. I genuinely think that I have the best depth, and we're pretty even on the starters
Was between the Pistons and Pacers for me. I voted Pacers with the expectation that Love contributes big as a rookie.
I voted for Milwaukee Bucks because I think their starting unit is built to work with each other and have 5 talented starters, while the other teams only have 4 or won't have good chemistry. Dirk/Oden Duo=Studzo
Dirk/Oden forms probably one of the best inside/outside combos down low the league has ever seen, and Oden and Conley have amazing chemsitry since they grew up with each other playing all those years. Jackson is a good defender, and can hit the long ball, and Thaddeus will only improve and doesn't need a lot of shots to be effective. I love my starting 5. My bench ain't too shabby either.
I think chingy has a solid team, but Mo/Vince/Melo are all players who need the ball to be effective and he has no one who could score down low.
The Pacers are solidly built, but their backup guards off the bench are young and questionable on how they develop. I could see the frontcourt having a lot of fouling issues with the Lovemaker and Biedrins. Very very athletic at the SF position.
The Pistons are pretty solid, but I think a team with height can go at them inside. Brand and Wilcox are both about 6-8, and against bigger teams that's not gonna cut it. Lots of scoring in the starting lineup, not sure a backcourt of Billups (half court oriented) and Barbosa (loves to run) can mesh as well on the court as it looks on paper.
It is hard for me to vote against a team with Deron and Biedrins, but I don't like the Pacers bench. Once I factor in all of the players that get a team an auto-no-vote from me, Bucks get my vote
