i'm livin in philly cuz i'm at school so i'm not able to watch nets games...what do you guys do to catch their games if you're livin' away from Jersey??
I'll have to try my luck with just the nationally televised games. sucks not to have the network. You can always try to get NBAtv, but that requires to pay $$$. They have every game and special features throughout the season.
I live in la and every year I watch every nets game on tv with NBA league pass. If you get it now there might be a discount. I know it costs a pretty penny but it really is worth it.
Had NBA League Pass last year. If you can split the price with someone, it's golden. A friend and I split it ($80 each for the season) where he would watch it on his Satellite TV at home, and I'd watch it using the League Pass Broadband (included) on my computer. Only problem is LP Broadband doesn't have streaming HD, but perhaps they'll be adding that this year. Has anyone heard of any new features/pricing yet? I've also heard the NBA is allowing teams to stream the games online to local residents this season. Perhaps someone will come up with a nice hack/program/website that will allow anyone around the world to access that feed.
I'm pretty sure there are going to be games carried by chinese tv stations. Most if not all of Rockets games are carried by them. There should be a lot of nets games since there were a hand full of bucks games last year. You can watch those using a p2p sharing program. I don't know what the policy is on sportstwo so i dont want to step on any toes... just google sopcast or tvu or tvants. Usually the channel with the most users during game time are either a really popular tv drama thats showing reruns early in the morning in China or Rockets/(whatever team YI is on)/or lakers games.
This website has broadcasts of every NBA game, usually showing the home team's coverage. (You do not need to download anything, plus it is free)
I'll be the second one to endorse this website. Used it last weekend to watch the Rutgers/Navy game. Picture wasn't the greatest, but at least I got to see Mike Teel's interception! I use it to watch/listen to Titans games as well. Gets the job done.
