    Edit:

Ok, for those who are lazy to read, here's the informative stuff in this interview:

    • Dorsey should be signed by the end of the week.
    • Rockets have what they consider to be a fair offer on the table for Landry.
    • No update on Dikembe yet.
    • Leunen will play in Turkey, and will be available next offseason for us.
    • Von Wafer and Marcus Cambell will be in camp, competing for a spot
    • Damon Stoudamire and Darell Armstrong want to attend camp also, but the Rockets haven't determined whether they'll bring them in.
    • The likelihood any of the above mentioned players make the team heavily depends on whether we are able to resign Landry and Deke.
    • We'll have Artest's Bird Rights after the season. Both sides have agreed to negotiate on his next contract after the season.
    • Relative to the West, the Rockets feel that PG is their weakest position (e.g. huge gap between Chris Paul and Rafer Alston). They feel better about it this year than last year, though.
    • Yao's doing well, his repaired foot is responding well, and he should be ready to go by training camp.
    • Tracy has some lingering post-surgery pain, but he's considers it only a minor annoyance and it won't hinder his ability to play.
    • Rockets did their research on Artest, and they knew he'd be a great practice player who has a strong foundation for winning basketball (personable, works hard, competitive)
    • Lastly, Morey is unwilling to divulge his biggest concern with the team.
