So the Rays are working on a doubleheader today with the Orioles. They trail the first game 2-0. Assuming that holds up, we'll be 2 back and each of us will have one game to play tonight. So as pissed as I was yesterday this is far from over --- especially considering that all the Rays remaining games are on the road, while the Sox remaining games are in Boston. BTW we clinch a playoff spot with a win or a Yankees loss. Here's the bad news: We got Cliff Lee to deal with, and we're sending Wakefield out to the mound. The timing is just perfect for Wakey to have one of his 9-run, 3-inning outings.
