Burgerville Cheeseburger w/ Extra Spread and a Fresh Strawberry Shake with Walla Walla Onion rings FTW!
I have 2 in-n-outs within 3 miles of me. Haven't been in like a year. Burgerville is a mecca! That extra spread rocks!
I would look at the menu for a "Northwest" restaurant such as Higgins or Wildwood: http://higgins.ypguides.net/page/o30d/Dinner_Menu.html http://www.wildwoodrestaurant.com/dinnermenu.htm Shellfish such as oysters are popular..more from the Puguet Sound area. Geoducks are also pretty popular from that region as well, but I see it mostly in Chinese restaurants
With Portland there is a lot of fusion food. A lot of restaurants popping up around town. Smoked salmon for me though. That and filberts (hazelnuts) those are very Portland. Anything in the rose family grows well here, blackberries we actually have two different kinds Himalayan (the ones you find everywhere) and Oregon (grow like wild roses, hard to find) , raspberries, salmon berries, black caps, the list is lost in the horizon. We also have a lot of wild huckleberries. In the beverage department we are becoming internationally known for our wines. Portland also has the most microbreweries out of any city in the world. Cheers.
Did you know that In-n-Out is run by fundamentalist Christians? Take that! You should just eat at Commie Burger. you'd love that!
So any dollars I give them funds Christian terrorism? They'd have to be provided by the government, funded by high tax rates. Mmmm.
Oh yeah, if you ever go to Portland, go to this restaurant called "Shari's". Its the best restaurant in town, bar none!
Alright, Denny, put up or shut up--what's your favorite Chicago-style pizza place? I'm a Geno's East man and I'll fight anyone who disagrees with me! And by the way, thanks for mentioning beef sandwiches. Now I have a hankering for Mr. Beef that cannot be squelched.
In-N-Out sucks. Just plain sucks. Sorry, I guess I am unpatriotic. Just visited home 2 months ago and let me tell you did Burgerville screw up their chicken strips something awful. The cheeseburgers were still awesome but damn, the chicken was gross.
