Some exciting news here folks, Velasquez is very promising prospect that some ppl think is better than Brock Lesnar. Don't know much about Al-Turk but he's experienced.

Re: Cain Velasquez and Mustapha Al-Turk is in the works for UFC 92

Mustapha al Turk's only big win is over British journeyman Mark "The Titan" Kerr, who had lost four in a row leading into his fight with al Turk and five of six. He's 4-9 since 2000. al Turk followed that win with a loss to Tengis Tedoradze, who's credentials include wins over Butterbean, James Thompson, and Robert "Buzz" Berry. The fact that al Turk was a CR HW Champ says more about the lack of quality HW's in the feeder leagues than anything else.

Velasquez is a promising fighter but, as we've seen with Koscheck, Fitch, Swick, and even Thompson, AKA fighters are nullified when faced with superior wrestlers (GSP, Okami, and Guida, though Thompson showed a diverse and improved game against Melendez). Thankfully for Velasquez there just isn't a fighter in the UFC HW division that has those attributes except possibly Randy Couture.<table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="100%"><tbody><tr><td class="Txt11Gray OddBgd" width="97" height="20"></td><td class="Txt11Gray OddBgd">

also Velasquez hasn't fought for an entire round yet in his 4 fight career. He's just wrecking ppl so far. This guy is going to be damn good.

He destroyed Brad Morris and Jake O'Brien in just over 2 mins each in the UFC. Don't know Morris, but O'Brien is a fairly solid wrestler who had 3 wins in the UFC and 1 loss to Andrei Arlovski prior to fighting Cain.

Velasquez has injured his knee so this fight is no longer likely to happen.

Cheick Kongo will take Cain Velasquez's place in this match.

Black Superman! I hope he can develop a ground game someday. It's keeping him from contending.
